http://pic-a-pagediscounts.com/Real_Cou ... htmlOutlaw On The Run (Larry W. Jones 10/06/2006) (song#4035)He breathed the prarie dust on the day that he was bornIn the bed of a Conestoga says the taleHe was raised to be a cowboy, his Mama's favorite sonBut he was born to ride the outlaw trailRobbing banks and stopping trainsWanted by the law before he turned twenty oneBreathing prarie dust, outlaw in his veinsHis thumb would count the notches on his gunThen one day there came a strangerInto the town he rode with his gunA man of fame, a Texas RangerLooking for an outlaw on the runThe noon day sun was hot when they came togetherPrarie dust was blowing down the streetThey still talk about when two guns cleared leatherAnd one man lay dying at the other's feetHe breathed the prarie dust on the day that he was bornIn the bed of a Conestoga says the taleHe was raised to be a cowboy, his Mama's favorite sonBut he was born to ride the outlaw trailThe Texas Ranger saddled up and rode out of townLeaving the outlaw on the run who made his Mama mournHe was born to be an outlaw but the Ranger shot him downAnd he returned to the very dust of the day that he was born

The noon day sun was hot when they came togetherPrarie dust was blowing down the street-These are the strongest lines in the lyric to me. I recommend making them the opening lines. This lyric has loads of images it just needs some tweeking to make it stronger. Good start.........................peace!

http://www.pic-a-pagediscounts.com/Real ... htmlThanks, oxe57, for the critique. I can see that line coming first if this was a western movie, then flashback to the "prarie dust" of the time the outlaw was born.
