You and me have been to lots of places,
Ev’ry one was like a sweet oasis for adventurous hearts
Yet no matter how far we may travel,
I look forward to the gravel road to our front yard

And just sittin’ on this creaky porch
Holdin’ hands with you
The bug light is a country tiki torch
And we got a coupla cans o’ brew

Yeah, we’ve danced down Bourbon St. at Mardi Gras
Where the revelry was wild and raw
And enchantment ruled the night

I remember surfing near Clearwater,
And then paragliding in Ft. Lauderdale
Making love with you at high tide,
And the ivory moon at twilight was a magic sail

But tonight the crystal creek is high
And we couldn’t have a clearer view
Workin’ hard all week is why
We deserve a beer ‘r two

Yeah, we’ve been in San Francisco at sundown
Rollin’ through the hills of Chinatown
On a moonlit rickshaw ride
