thanks Mike! honestly, it's more of a poem. I wrote it real fast Friday night but just had the chance to type it.

Yeah I thought as much from the rythem... although I dont think it would take a whole lot of adjusment to make it a song.! It would only be a little stilted tring to sing it as is in fact!!! Michael

yeah...a word here and there might need to be changed or dropped.

Yeah an 'is' or 'and' ... maybe an 'all' to the going the distance on the shadows line Kind of thing ... It would depend on the syllabic pattern the music set in creating the melody line

thanks again guys...I'm appalled that folks like this so much. I coughed it out Friday night while watching an ep of Buffy. a character said something about "traveling light" and I just spun the idea from that phrase.
