Thanks for taking the time.Yeah it is kind of an old standard, ain't it? smiling magic. but I had already written the lines leading up to it so I really didn't think I neede to break any more new ground at the lyrical "payoff". BitWys,not knowing what the music sounds like, just going by the lyrics, I hear Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet...it has that classic, classy vibe to it...If you did a killer ratpacker version of this with a great singer, I think you'd have the music supervisors lining up...But like I said, I'm just going by the lyric, don't know if the music would lend itself to something like that...Matt

I shouldn't laugh but you've got to hear the arrangement I'm putting to it. It actually is a kind of a Jazz/ratpack thing but not at all as mellow as the lyrics might suggest.Now I'll have to bear down and get the silly thing done. LOL!thanks again. Regarding his swing/big band stuff (which is top-notch), he's in some VERY nice music libraries (some of which are also graced by our own Matto) and has placements on television as well as several big Hollywood feature films. At the Rally, a track of his music was in a movie that was premiering in LA that week, the same week that at track of Matto's was premiering in another film. I was pretty impressed on both counts.
