Hey Couch I have to apologize. I associated you with lyrics only and didn't realize you collaborated for music too. You are quite the prolific lyricist, as we all know This song sounds pretty good. I love the lyrical theme. The only thing I would suggest is to cut down on the number of words. Less is more for a hit song. This is especially true for the chorus. How 'bout something along the lines of:(CHORUS) I once thought I had it allbut it was all for nothing now I'm brought to my knees with memories cos something that meant nothingcost me ev'rything Country is not my style so I could be way off here. But as you know, great songs are ones that say the most with the fewest words (e.g. "Fire and Rain")All the best! Maybe one day I'll have my own forum, LOL!!! Casey

thanks for listening Casey! it all depends on the song...some tunes have long choruses(like the Good Stuff) others are shorter. what we have is pretty basic for country and fits with the music.

Casey, not at all. stuff has always gotta be shuffled, dropped or added for the sake of the song. hope you like the music, too.
