I sit in the darkness, and swallow my pride; constructing a cross for when I’m crucified

Never left mentioned, always ask why, and don’t be blinded by the fireworks on the 4th of July

You can lie, but always stay true - If you dream in color you’ll always be blue



I’m desperate and anxious to fly in sky, but grounded by time I have left to be alive

Reads like a riddle, sinks like a stone; it’s best to call this my own


Feed from the table that stands in your home; break the bread generously and you’ll never be alone

A brother in need is a brother that’s lost; pay your dues, no matter the cost
