Mimi and Teft in LA
Posted: Tue Jan 22, 2013 4:08 pm
Mimi and Teft and friends are producing the 3rd - "First Occasional Joseph Gillis Live Play Festival and Roaring Bizarre .... or something like that.
If you're in the Hollywood area this week stop by. These are largely unadvertised, word of mouth events. Like the Hollywood Burnng Man, they write it, rehearse it, then run it for one night and take it down. They sold out of the first night too fast this time, so are adding a second night.

REVISED UPDATE:
Final count down! On behalf of the Alto Nido Arts Collective, we are truly grateful for all the donations we’ve received so far! The show goes up this week WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY … A few notes:
DRESS CODE: Dress for a classy evening, or 1920s attire! The whole night is themed for the 20s, so if you’ve got the threads, put on your 1920s gear. Or dress for a night of theater. Best to leave your Clippers jersey in the closet, though.
FREE AT THE DOOR: The event is free at the door, first come first serve (unless you have a golden ticket reservation). The entire show is donation based, so you can come and watch the show entirely for free. If at anytime you feel like donating, we will not hold you back.
Golden tickets - http://www.indiegogo.com/3rdjoegillis?c=home
EVENT TIME: Doors open at 7pm
ADDRESS: Lillian Theater in Hollywood
1076 Lillian Way, Los Angeles, CA 90038
Plenty of street parking.
See you all soon!!!
