Some projects completed this year

Hi friends,

Shameless Self Promotion time!!

Haven't been around much here, at least not as much as I used to be! My day gig has gotten busier (in a good way, whew!!) and I've been busy cranking out the music as well as taking a lot of photos.

Here's three projects I finished this year. I also wrote a ton of stand alone pieces and groups of pieces for publishers, these links are to sets that were written as a cohesive project. All fun quirky stuff!

Hey Mazz,

I had just bounced in to make a post and saw this under "Unread Posts"

I really enjoyed listening to your work. It's as good as I have come to expect from you. Keep up the good work!!!

You do that quirky so well!
If I may ask, how much time do you plan/spend on each project (assuming 10 tracks is one "project")?

Love your focus on colors that stands out in the frame, on your pics! Very musical, the mixing analogy pops up instantly! Is that intentional (approaching photography like mixing)? Like some tracks needs to stand out in the mix, but they all have a role to play..

Thanks everyone!

If I was to work on one of these projects all in one shot (which never happens btw!), I would say probably 14 days for a 12 song cd, maybe a little longer. Of course I had a few months to get it done, along with everything else!

When I was a kid I did oil painting and that training is still in there somewhere and I think it comes out in the photography. I love the post production process. I try to get the composition right up front and then enhance afterward. It's very fun and creative. Thanks for looking!

On to the next project!!

Cheers,

Mazz

Hey Mazz,
I really enjoyed your photos .. especially the black and whites with people and the simple pattern/color picks (like vascularity, diamond window, vents, blue screen, etc).
