Not been posting much, I've been super busy these last couple of months...

But, here is something I can't help but share with you all!

http://www.noblecreatures.com/

I played bass with these cats for 2 years (then they found somebody who could really play! Hah!) :D not true/but yes he does
They are dear friends of mine... the coolest cats...
I've listened to the album a bunch of times now and keep getting drawn into it.
If you find it on Itunes, just hit the PREVIEW ALL button and kick back for a couple...
Let me know what you think.
I'll let Luis (band leader/singer) know how it's falling on ears.
Sincerely,
Cass

Oh dear Cass/Robert, so nice to see you back.

If you have been so busy, ... well, I guess it is a good sign, yes ?!

I shall try to find your good Musician Friends at iTune.

Found it... quick snibbet-listens (minimized it so I can go back for second helpings ;) ).
Been a fan of horn-driven bands from way back: Blood, Sweat & Tears, Cold Blood, Chicago, Tower of Power... later on the addition of the Latin flavoring of Miami Sound Machine & Gloria Estefan.

These guys (ed. Noble Creatures) bring all of those tasty ear-treats back full-throttle.
Everything sounds exquisite in all respects...
production is outstanding, to these 'seasoned' (old) ears.

My ONLY longing... and this is just a tiny, personal-taste detail:
would like to hear the addition, or other versions, with some female vocals.
(that's my boyish-crush on Lydia Pense & her vocals for 'Cold Blood' talkin' :? 8-) )
But... I emphasize, that's a little detail, and takes away nothing from this album project being top-notch.
Awesome. Thanks for the advertisement & recommendation.
Cheers.
Peter

Thank you Catherine!

Right on Peter!
I agree, this music lends itself perfectly for a female vocal...
So glad you enjoyed them!

Hi Cass. There is a lot to like there. Really good players, vocals, writing, production etc. I think it's Bare Naked Ladies I hear in the general sound right from the start which is a positive thing. Yeah, the music is really good and I wish them the best of luck.

Stranger:)

wow, I can see why you have been awol

Had a listen and the band is very cool indeed.

Your singer's voice draws you in. I especially like "Grace" well, the part of it( 30 sec). Tender vox

I bet your ears are burnt. I can't even imagine mixing all those parts.

Don't worry too much about getting back to the forum. Not much ever changes there:)

Take care friend

sincerely

paul
