A few years ago I was so excited about a "deal" I got via a ghost-hunting forward to a music supe. He wrote myself and a few other members a note and seemed eager to use that piece and a bunch of others in the series he was working on - R.I.P Files.
Long story short - He took a bunch (nothing was signed or anything), never replied to any of my inquiries or offers to send more, and that was the end of that.
So today ... 26 months later, I feel compelled to recant my brag that I landed a deal via one of my 200ish Taxi forwards in the last 7.85 years.
I feel like Warren Beatty at the Oscars a few months ago.
