Updating An Old Score

10 years ago I was commissioned to write the score to a documentary about the heritage of Gig Harbor, Washington. As it often goes in this business, the documentary was never completed. But at the time I wrote a suite featuring the thematic material I intended to use for the film.
Today I’ve re-recorded the suite using my current set of sample libraries. Ten years is a long time in sample library years so I really wanted to update this score. Instead of posting the audio only on SoundCloud I chose to take advantage of YouTube and incorporate some visuals. The imagery doesn’t necessarily represent what the original documentary would have been like so please don’t judge my filmmaking skills, lol.
