Yeehaw, love that bluegrass!! :) Was at the Parkfield, CA Bluegrass Festival this month. Banjer Dan used to live here in the SLO area and I've seen him at jams before. Keep on pickin' and grinnin'. :)

That's cool; thanks, Ralph. Our big local festival isn't until the 3rd weekend of August: SUMMERGRASS.
The session for recording BanjerDan was the very first (and only) time I ever met him.
He was referred to me by Steve Peavey, and I learned that Dan and I have many mutual acquaintances.

I used to live in Orange County. Went to SummerGrass a couple of times. I have a friend who is a blacksmith and goes the shop there some.

Yeah - the museum grounds there is quite a site... lots to see; and the encouraging thing is all the kids that attend the teaching and workshops there.
There's a solid future for Bluegrass music & musicians in the generations to come.
