Unselfish Promotion Thread
Here's an idea that could help spread some Taxi love. Right here in the forum usually reserved for "Shameless Self Promotion", why not pick a member and single them out for recognition? No fair to duplicate someone else's favorite, so don't let someone beat you to the punch. My choice for Unselfish Promotion is Lydia L. Ashton a.k.a. crystallions!I must admit that I've been skimming posts lately and I haven't clicked the links to Lydia's music until today. Boy, was I missing out! Lydia's talent and professionalism is undeniable and her music is beautiful & well done. Do yourself a favor and poke around Lydia's beautiful web site and listen to her music samples, if for no other reason than to scope out the comeptition!! www.myspace.com/lydialashtonwww.lydialashton.tvLydia, if you're listening in, don't worry if nobody takes me up on the challenge: Either your writeup is the top of a long thread or it'll get 100% of the attention. You win both ways! -Allen

Thank you Allen! I feel both honored and happy to be the first person promoted. I would like to do the same for someone else...My choice for Unselfish Promotion is John Mazzei a.k.a. MazzHis music was some of the first I ran across on the forum and it is absolutely fantastic. If you have not looked around his web site yet I highly recommend that you do so. There are many pieces of music to listen to and they are all excellent.www.johnmazzei.comEnjoy listening,Lydia

"Sugar Jones", my all-time favorite from BillG...http://www.broadjam.com/player/playerho ... 348500"I'm a junk food junkie... I feed Suzie Q's and Twinkies to my monkey!" At the risk of alienating so many good choices for this thread, I want to go with only one...My pick is Liam Kelly -http://www.myspace.com/liamkellymusicNot only well played and well produced, this guy has good, solid commercial sensibilities and I think his music has an excellent shot at breaking through...Keep it up Liam - I love your stuff... Wow, Allen-- this is such a wonderful idea!!! I love it!! You already KNOW I love your stuff... Now if only I could narrow my nomination down to just one or two of you guys... Honestly, I'm a fan of so many of you already, it's crazy. Yes, yes, yes-- to all the ones already listed! I'm going to nominate Martin-- I'm a huge fan of his guitar work and production, ever since I first heard this beautiful tack of his: Miracle of Life. Stunning! Raags

VonVonI have just got back from vacation - apologies for missing your reply. And thank you for your kind words. I am truly moved.I think this is a great thread Allends and to keep it going I'd like to point y'all to a 'older' rocker well known to the Forum for his entertaining anectodes and his general all 'round positivity.I'm not sure, though, how many of you are familiar wth Ernstinen's compositions. Here is Elegy, composed by L John Ernst and performed by the Czech Philharmonic in Prague. Please check it out as you read this thread... it is breathtaking.http://www.box.net/shared/irn1fxxiopLiam
