I have a Youtube channel in which I feature the songs I've written. I just received an e-mail saying I've been approved for a Youtube Partnership. This will allow me to earn ad revenue from the ads Google will place on my channel. They pay you per view on your video. I get to continue writing my songs and making a little money off my videos now. It probably won't be a huge amount, but hey, it's something, hehe. This will be the first time that I earn some money from my songwriting, so I'm really excited.


I've not yet enabled the ad money sharing feature, (have to read and sign the contract) and I'm pretty sleepy tonight, but I'll do that tomorrow.

Money from your music is great in any amount! I can speak from experience that once that flow starts, it changes your outlook and confidence level, which seems to lubricate the flow a bit more. It's not a fast process, but every little bit seems to build on the previous one.

Thanks, Mazz. These Youtube Partnerships are hard to get, so I was excited. Now I just gotta figure out how to use all the Partner features on my channel, lol, such as enabling ads and creating a banner to maximize my profit of course. I just got approved for Google Adsense this morning, so now my Partnership has been fully activated. Yeah, it does give me some confidence obtaining a goal that I worked toward.

Congrats Chits... what great news! I know you've been working hard cultivating this, I'm glad to hear your hard work is paying off!
