Textured Picks

I will be attending the Rally, going to events, attending classes and hanging out at the Dot Lounge, and I will have a pocketful of my textured guitar picks for anyone who's interested.
For free ... just find me and ask for one. Try 'em out. Let me know what you think.
After years and years of dropping picks, and trying every means of keeping spares nearby, which I would also eventually drop, I finally figured out how apply this texture ... and I've not dropped one since. I'd like to know what y'all think and if I should go into serious 'production' and make them more widely available.

I've been enjoying the one you gave me a while ago! It tends to stay closeby which i love.

oooooh, Jeff... you raise a good point.
If nobody drops and loses the picks, I'll never have any repeat customers.
I need to rethink my business proposition.

Hi Stan,
I played your picks at your place and thought they were a cool idea, but I wasn't thinking seriously at the time. Now that I've been playing out more, I totally believe why I was stupid not to grab a hand full when I had the chance. Not only is it a pain to lose a pick while performing, it is a crime not to have something awesome to give to your playing buddies. Just think of the favors they would feel obligated to!!!!
I'm undecided about gages because I play different guitars in different ways. If you have a variety pack and something to strum on next time I see you, I'll buy a couple of light ones similar in feel to Dunlop nylon .73 mm and a couple that'll do the same job as the Martin .96 mm picks. I'll bring my own if you like, but it might be more fun to be surprised.
All The Best,
Al

Hey what a great idea Stan! How does it sound if you strike the string with the textured part? I have one nylon (blue) pick that is textured, it works great for U2 style stuff. I've had it for over 4 years, I don't play live anymore so I never loose picks... Watch, it will go missing tomorrow

My new secret to lasting happiness:

Jazz Stan's Texture-Grip Pick!
I gain two benefits from this little baby: 1) I never lose it during gigs, and 2) because there's a designated place to hold the pick, I'm breaking myself from the bad habit of holding too close to the tip - a practice that has caused me to wear out my index finger nail.
Way to go, Stan!!
