Hey Al.

Thanks for the reply to my ad.Unfortunatly i have no musical background,so have nothing that you can listen to. The genres i tend to think of for my lyrics would be.Mod/alt/indie pop.Adult/contemp rock. Although a lot of what i write is a little abstract so maybe i should think about other genres.maybe neo psychadelica? but am always open to ideas. I mostly post on musesmuse, under steve e d,but come here when or if i have the time. Any or all input would be helpful and appreciated.

Thanks. All the best.
Steve.

Hey Steve!

Thanks man! yeah I get it. Well, the problem is that the song stuff, not the instrumental stuff I make is mostly in the styles of pop/dance-pop with hip hop elements, so that's probably not gonna make sense.

but still nice to talk to you, are you going to the rally?

peace

I'm a decorator by trade,to be honest i've been doing it for so long that if it does go belly up i dont think i'll be too bothered. The rally sounds like it's pretty cool if your going for the third time, hope you enjoy it. I know you did'nt ask...but,i started writing scripts in my 20's trying to get out of the trade, but life sometimes has a path already set.so here i am nearly 20yrs later and been able to get back into it a little bit.Thought i'd give lyrics a go,been doing that for about a year now still work on scripts too when i have time.Mostly just for fun..but you never know.. How about you, you've obviously been into the music scene quite a while?
Good to chat,all the best.
Steve.

Ah, very interesting.

Well, I've been writing songs for about 12 yrs now I think. I went to LA to study audio engineering in 08. I took guitar lessons for about 4 yrs until 08. I also took piano lessons when i was little.

Yeah, the rally is the best, plus I get to go to LA for another reason than just the fact that I love the city ;)
