Interested in Finding Some Compatible Collaborators.

I haven't been very active within the Forums through my membership and I'm realizing that it really is a necessity. I've been watching the Taxi TV shows that Michael hosts and I'm very impressed with the amount of information I get out of them, as well as enjoying some nice chats with other members. I'd like to get to know more great people and learn and share as well.
I'm a performing singer/songwriter in the Sarasota, FL area. Studied jazz and composition in college and then hit the lounges and clubs in Florida. I've been performing for over 30 years. Have a lot of experience in the cover band arena covering all genres. Left the band and have been performing solo for 3 years now in a very creative Solo Acoustic Loop show. You can see some vids at my website. I released my first Album this past summer and am working hard in my studio to get the right formula for my submissions to get placed. I've had several forwards, so I know I must be doing something right. LOL.
I've learned so much from the Taxi TV, and I'm changing my approaches on a few things. I feel my weekness has been to write strong lyrics on demand. I'm still working on the lyric writing skills. The music has always come faster for me in the writing process over the lyrics. I'm confident I'll get that groove in time.
