Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for some fellow producers and singer/songwriters to collaborate with. I'd like to create tracks similar to what The Chainsmokers have been recently releasing: songs with infectious melodies, catchy hooks in a blend of pop and electronic genres.

I'd love to find another producer to share tracks with and to bounce ideas off of and one or more singers/songwriters to be involved to help write/record vocals. Really looking to form a solid songwriting/production team with the goal of pitching our music and getting it out there.

I'm a part time musician/producer with my own home studio capable of putting together very solid sounds. However, I don't want to do it on my own. I like working with others and getting inspired by the shared passion of creating awesome music. I'm in the Portland, OR metropolitan area so any of you locals, definitely hit me up because it would be great to work in person and meet other fellow Taxi members in my area.

Hey Ed!
I really like the track!
Very nice strings and brass work, and the percussion works well, creating that strong tension.
Lots of attention to scoring details, and the orchestration seem to help the mixing aspects.

The bass drops sound a little bit like not being as closely integrated into the track, (I think it is common that it isn't, so it sticks out a bit in this track and in those other cases.)
But there is still the benefit of clarity when it's dry like that. A matter of taste, I guess.

Really nice tracks on your soundcloud page, Brandon! Chainsmokers create some great stuff, there are some great EDM writers here in Taxi. I'm still trying to get my mixing chops down for that genre. Have you checked out any Cash Cash? The Element turned me on to them earlier this year, great music.
