Hello fellow passengers! I am looking to collaborate. Simple as that. I’d love to find people in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area, since that is where I’m based, but I’m very open to remote collaborations as well.

I primarily create instrumentals in the Americana and Blues/Rock spaces but I’m not limited to that by any means. It’s just where I lean. I also love to write songs but, as Michael has mentioned on several occasions, songs generally take a lot more time. My skills as a lyricist are reasonable but it’s always much easier bouncing ideas off a cowriter, at least for me.

I smiled when I read your post, because it's exactly what I was about to write.

I generally work on my own - not because I can't collaborate, or don't want to... its just eaiser squeezing in sessions with myself.

But I appreciate the value of more than one mind on the job. So I came to the forum (I'm not really a regular contributor) to see what was going on.

Did you get many replies to your request?

I had a listen to some of the things that you were doing - it's not what I normally do, but I like it. Recording sounds clear and good. Playing is nice. Compositions really good. I'm not sure if we would end up on the same tangent, but thought that maybe that's OK, and that I'd reach out to you anyway.

I am signed to a few libraries, and I tend to like to work on delivering stuff to them to increase the chances of it being used. I want to try to work in the up-to-date stuff, only because that's where the interest generally lies. I've dallied in many styles, haven't really settled on just one genre yet

Afraid there won't be any "in the same room" collaboration, as I live in Australia. But if you're interested in a conversation, I'd be very pleased to chat and see where some interesting opportunities exist. If my stuff is not in the same zone as what you want to work on, then no problem.

I have had several forwards on Taxi in the last 6 months..I just rejoined less than a year ago.
I have two songs signed to a Nashville publisher in the last two weeks.
If you can do the beats ..tracks (love what I heard )..and sing ..we can do this at no or very little cost. I have several singers I use.
