Sorry that I'm not geared-up to be the one to produce this with you; the concept is good, IMHO, the potential is there; I wish I could do it.
What I would do: shorten the Intro - maybe by half.
And - soon after the story is in motion: double the tempo with some pop/EDM kind of percussion to drive it 'from underneath'.
I'd wanna make the listen 'move', and remove any feeling of having to wait to hear the next lyric; lock in a pulse... so that I/we/they wanna hang with it.
my 2 cents.
Good luck - I'd like to hear how this gets worked out.
What is your name, please?
Cheers,
Peter

I found a few more pennies... for what they are worth:
Are you willing to try a few things?
1) Cut out the Intro entirely.
2) Start right at the first Verse at the :11 mark.
3) Bring in half-time percussion and bass, no kick yet.
4) at what sounds like a pre-Chorus :25; add in the half-time kick at :35.
5) Go full-time 4-on-the-floor EDM at :47 - which sounds like your Chorus.

You'll need to find places/edit points where you back off of the full-slam Chorus,
and create some space.
Be sure it's got a solid stop/button ending.
Maybe even consider reaching out for a young female vocal version, too.
