Collaborator available (No Taxi membership yet)

Hey everyone,

I thought I'd introduce myself! I'm Chris Rettig and I have a full studio setup. I play pretty much every "combo" instrument, and if anyone needs or wants to collaborate on tracks I'd love to be a part of them if the fit is right!

I'm just getting in to sync music, as I'm still full time with the Army and have a ridiculous schedule. However if I have time, I can usually get a track done in 2-3 days. I understand this kind of complicates the whole thing but if anyone would be interested in doing things together let me know! I collaborate with a couple people already too, by the way.

Of course, if I'm out of line by not having a Taxi membership I completely understand. I'll come back and check in once I find myself "trying" to do this full time!

Thanks for your time. You can look up my old work on Youtube here https://www.youtube.com/@cjrettig2007

I've done other things but don't want to post them and aggravate anyone, so please reach out if you'd like to hear some of the tracks!

Chris

It does come off a little tacky. It is true that only one writer on a submission has to be a Taxi member. But you are using their resources to get placements without paying for it, not supporting the company offering all this. "All this" includes the Taxi Road Rally as well.

For example, I've been doing this for almost 25 years and have built up a list of "go to" library contacts. I only submit very occasionally and don't really depend on Taxi much for getting my songs signed and placed anymore. But I renew my membership every year. I'm happy to spend $200 to support the people who got me going in this business. And the road rally is amazing.

JMHO

Best,
:D Casey

Hi Chris,
I enjoyed your music.

I'd love to find a collaborator for S250118CV. I'd be able to do the singing.

Here's a recent cover I did for a Taxi listing.

I've been a member for a while and have had a few forwards and deals, but some of my licensing deals were made before Taxi.

Hope to hear from you soon!
Sheryl

Hi Chris,

I really enjoyed your music, especially the worship covers. Send me a message with your email address so we can write a song together.
