I've got a song I really want to get knocked out, but I'm currently trying to finish up another collab effort. So, I thought this might be a good time to try my first lyric collaboration.First off, this is going to be a very formula-driven country song (power ballad). If you're not comfortable with that or consider it 'selling out,' this one might not be right for you.If you're still with me...here's the deal: I've got the 'story' of the song pretty much nailed down. I can tell you what each verse should focus on (3 verses...with a possible middle 8). The chorus is more defined (first and second choruses pretty much done...third one is a little rough) though I'm always open to suggestions to make it stronger.There will be three collaborators total...myself, this additional lyricist, and another musician. Thanks for all that have replied! My "first responder" is taking a wonderful crack at these country lyrics, and I've even lined up another potential collab with another writer. This is my first real stab at collaborating via this forum, and I'm excited with the potential at this point.
