New Lyricist Seeking work & assistance in starting

Hi my name is JillianI am very new to taxi. I have been writting songs for weddings, competitions, and my son. I am intrested in getting some of my songs published and performed but i don't know where to start. Any pointers? Or is anyone intrested in a lyricist?
