Now that everyone has a recording setup, the bar has been raised for those who aspire to stand out from the rank and file. It really takes years of experience to craft out competitive productions ... it also takes quite a lot of money to sound a cut above (mic pres, mics, conversion, tuning a room).I've been recording, writing and producing for 20 years and work with many artists and writers around the country via mp3 sharing. Creditis and audio samples of some of my previous productions at-http://www.joneshousemusic.comAPI, Neumann, Avalon, Apogee

LOL so what are you saying! That me and my mbox have a good in bed quality? or we are not so hot together.I really had a laugh when I read your title..I mean I bought an mbox and quality mic. and all the other goodies thinking I could get a good vocal recording of my daughter...layer it with provided music and have TA DA a quality production. In truth our productions sound like (well I will refrain) HOWEVER..the nice thing is we have been able to use the box to work back and forth with collabs and pull together an IDEA of what we want it to sound like.Right now we have several good IDEAS..but as we all know if we sent that to someone to listen to their imagination would likely NOT take them to the place we want it to go.So we are going to get these songs professionally recorded.Once I accepted that I was not going to be er ah "producing" a quality demo..but just very rough cuts Me and mbox 2 become well more peaceful around one another.....I have regained a life and gone off the drugs..and mbox is happy not being bashed up the side of the wall so much...! LOL kidding of course I did not take drugs..nor drink alcohol, nor did I smoke weed, or do any other mind altering substance whilst trying to figure out how to work the mbox2.Honest.
