Looking for lyric co-writer

I'm sure we've all been there: you start writing a song...come up with a great melody and hook...but the lyrics just don't flow out of you. Most of my attempts that end that way fall to the wayside, but I have one I've been sitting on for awhile because I just can't seem to let it go. I love the potential in it...I even find myself singing it out of the blue. But, for whatever reason, I just can't seem to get it rolling past my initial outpour.

So...

If you're a lyricist that enjoys all types of music and can turn a phrase, maybe you can help me out. My concept is this: if you're interested, send me a sample or two...either songs or even just lyrics. If I think our styles could mesh, I'll send you my rough track (mostly mumbling through the melody, honestly) and you can decide if you think our styles match. If we both agree we want to take a stab at it...then let's do it!

One thing to note up front: this particular song (sort of a modern country/rock tune) is working from a Songsinc ProTrack, so the writing and publishing credit is already 50%...but any collab between us will be a 50/50 split of that (so 25% writing, 25% publishing each...the other 50% remains with creator of the instrumental).

If you're interested, PM me with some samples and we'll go from there! Thanks!!

I'm always interested in serious collabs, and I know exactly what you mean about running dry. Can you send me a link to your music?

Nick

I'd love to hear the melody and hook and you have so far. If it's one of those things that you can't get outta your head, then that's definitely a good sign! If you're interested, I write music and I sing myself . If you're looking for a lyrical co-writer, feel free to check out some songs that I've done and if it sounds similar to your style, hit me up!

Feel free to contact me via email as well, that's the best way :)
