Mojo, do you have any other sampled acoustic piano plugins that you've compared this to?
The reason I ask... I have several sampled acoustic pianos, but for the price I wonder if this one would be worth it to add to my collection.

The Addictive Keys Studio Collection is currently (thru Apr 30th, 2013) on sale for $99. Here's a quick tour of some of the presets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... AFATJRXqHY#!

I have several grand pianos for Gigastudio, which I no longer use. (too big a resource hog, and requires Windows XP)

The AK Modern Upright is the best sampled upright I've heard. I prefer the expanded natural control of AK's Steinway D to the one in Kontakt by a mile, and the Rhodes, while not spectacular, is a solid addition. The built-in synth engine and controls are aimed at helping your piano parts stand out in or blend into your mixes as needed. I consider AK studio Collection a great first purchase, if you don't already have the territory covered; if you already own the full version of Kontakt, there are lots of other cool piano flavors, (available singly for about the same price as these three on sale ATM) but compared to Ivory or even Alicia's keys, this is a pretty sweet deal. The collection may or may not fit your needs, but the quality is top notch, and the price is more than fair, imo. Um, also, did I mention the range of the presets? I'm learning a lot about different piano treatments, just by browsing and examining settings.

Yeah, if you went to see U2 before they became The Biggest Band In The World, this was the piano you heard on "New Year's Day": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_grand_piano
