I don't know if this really falls under gear, but...

I just picked up Edgar Rothermich's book, Logic Pro X - How It Works. You can find more infer here: http://dingdingmusic.com/DingDing/LPX1.html

It is fantastic. I bought it via the iBookstore on my iPad - highly recommend it in this format. It is geared a bit towards beginners, but it is packed full of great info. I have been a Logic user since Vs. 6 and I learned stuff in this book that I either forgot about or didn't really understand to begin with. And it is laid out in a very clear, easy to understand way.

He has another book coming soon that will be more in depth and geared toward power users. But if you are new to Logic Pro X - or like me, a long time user and want a refresher - this is a great option. Just $20

(I am not related nor do I benefit in any way from his book sales. Just like the book.)

cheers -
kc

Thanks KC! What a great find - the PDF is definitely the way to go since the paperback version on Amazon is way too expensive for me.

PS - you helped me a while back re: deciding on Logic Pro X. So far, so good! And I absolutely love Drummer :D

Thanks again,
Mary
