If so how do you like the piano sounds?
Thanks!

The old M1 piano was very popular with latin dance bands and practically anyone else who played live, back in the day. The same sample is in the Korg X5 that still sees occasional use in my studio, but mainly, the Korg's there so I can use the mod wheel.

The M1 piano is good for EDM-style piano sounds...it's been used famously for that over the years. Not sure you'll get away with using it for realistic acoustic piano sounds anymore. I have the Korg Legacy series....love it...some of the old korg synth sounds are great. The plugins can be quirky though....a little too faithful to the originals...

Yeah, the M1 piano is also ubiquitous in Chicago House, Reggaeton and more genres than I could ever master; it's like the NS10 of sampled pianos.

Was at a Sam Ash store today and saw an old DX7 II FD for sale, along with an Ensoniq ESQ. I owned that model DX7 when it was new a couple of decades ago... amazing what memories those old keyboards bring back.

Keyboards with floppy drives! I wanted one so badly; now people have more memory and processing power in their phones. I still have my old hardware sequencer and all the floppies. I should probably dig through them and rescue some old, bad music.....
