If you have the money the Komplete 10 Ultimate is mega worth it.

I have numerous single things lilke the Mouth ,Rise and Hit ,Cuba, etc which are included in Komplete 10
So I might just wait till the Black Friday specials for singles. Hope they do this again

Got the email yesterday, thinking about moving up to Ultimate... so much goodness in there.

Not thinking anymore... just pulled the trigger on Ultimate.

Anyone know how the upgrade process works? I've got a high-speed external drive where my Complete installation files sit. Will I need to reinstall Kontakt with the new drive, or can I transfer the files from the drive they send to my high-speed TB drive?

The Drive that comes with the Komplete ultimate files on it is read only. You just have it on hand for install and reinstall in future.

You have to install it on a drive of your own. That's the content. But the suite of programs including kontakt et al you install off the drive too to your startup drive, but then will have to update all programs using the NI service center. Same with the content.

Make sense?

update arrived last night, was too busy to start the upgrade. There goes my afternoon productivity now, the upgrade is in progress and looks to be about four hours away from completing

Very exciting though.
