7th circle N72 preamp

I've been meaning to post this for a while. 7th circle audio makes some amazing affordable pre's. I use the N72 on every single session. It's replaced my Avalon as my go to for vocals. If you are good with electronics, you can buy it as a build kit and save a few bucks. We have 2 N72's, an A12 and a T15. The N72 is definitely the best. Heard about it through Tape-op.

did you build it or buy it from someone already built?
just wondering how much gear and skill you actually need to do it.
Have always been eyeing those Hairball audio 1176 knock-offs - would be a dream to have a rev D and A kicking around.

My studio partner built them. No way I could have done it. Took him a few days to do each, but he's into that kind of stuff. If you aren't sure, you should buy them built. Still worth every penny.
