This means that if you download, install and authorize the free Tracktion 5, you can then turn around and upgrade to T7 for $21USD. It's easy to use, if you've ever operated a mixer; they don't call it 'the musician's DAW' for nuthin'.

I spent the morning setting up an Orchestral Template in Tracktion (6) while watching a video with someone explaining how to do it in Logic. I don't see how Tracktion is any less sophisticated than the 'big boys' like Logic and Cubase. But much more user friendly!

DOH! I didn't see this alert and have to pay full price to upgrade to T7. Oh well, it's not very much.

Still worth it.You should pick up MasterMix, too; it's a poor man's Ozone.

Yes, the upgrade is absolutely worth it. Going to hold off on Mastermix right now - I have Ozone already. Heard other good things about it tho. Thanks for the alert, even though I didn't see it in time!
