Nice non-Kontakt strings

I'm in the market for nice string to accompany piano pieces, nothing elaborate, but should sound real.

You could do a lot worse than trying the BBC Symphony Orchestra which runs as it's own virtual instrument without Kontakt
There is a FREE basic version available called the DISCOVER edition if you are prepared to answer a questionarre and wait 2 weeks.
