I jumped on a recent deal Amazon & Seagate are doing and am glad I did. 22TB for $249! I am not a paid shill, just sharing info about something I'm sure most folks in this forum would find incredibly useful.

Holy crap TWENTY-TWO terrabytes?!?!?! Sheesh, my biggest hard drive right now is FIVE. I've been needing to get a new drive anyway though, so looks like your post came at the perfect time for me. Thank you!

I like it a lot. It does make a funny "thud" noise when it spins up but it's pretty quiet most of the time. The price has gone up to $299. Interestingly, the 24TB model is only $279 now!

In your review article, you mention the seagate loads data a little faster than your ssd. What data are you referring to?
I’d imagine loading large Kontakt instruments must take much longer to load from a mechanical drive compared to ssd.

VST instruments. Mainly EastWest and Kontakt libraries.
