I lucked into two pieces of A-designs gear: the Pacifica Mic pre and the Hammer EQ. A-designs does really well with pretty much everything but high end frequencies? These guys figured something out. Gear should never be used to "solve" acoustic problems but the high end on the Hammer is unbelievable. The dimensions of my mixing/mastering space are horrible and mastering with the Hammer adds air and space way beyond the confines of my square little room. The Pacific also has very clear/true high end and very little coloration. These are boutique pieces but worth every cent.
