TIP: Try Vi's before buying (now also MAC!)

I've enjoyed the site http://www.try-sound.com/
Here you can try a bunch of virtual instruments before deciding your purchase.

It works amazingly well. Hook up your midi keyboard to your computer, register and go ahead. I've enjoyed playing around with ProjectSam's Synthopia. It's a 1000$ Vi, so it's great to be able to check out the value first hand like this.

More users, means more Vi's, so if you support this site, I'm sure there will be more to choose from in the future.

Cool concept!

Windows-only at this point but they do mention a second product that Mac users can use apparently for quickie Windows emulation.

They say that there is a Mac version in development, and I thought it was due this month. I have used the site before with Crossover and Macindows with success. But I would love to have a mac version.

Yeah, they're adding more Vi's all the time. Now you can also try stuff from Vir2, Wallander instruments and Ivory pianos!

I hope more will come, but it's not good for us with GAS

Just another plug for this great service..
Now it's MAC compatible, too!

I'm sure more users will mean more virtual instruments to try out, so get on board.. it's a win-win!

Cool, I just auditioned Chris Hein - Guitars, what's with all of the bird sounds? I thought they were outside my window!
Pretty cool idea!
