TAXI.com

I'm not sure this is "gear" but I wasn't sure where to post it.

I'm wondering for those songwriter's out there, when you need top production or at least a film/tv quality, do you have production studios or systems you use? If you don't have access to great gear and a great engineer/producer, what do you do? And how much are you paying for it?
