I love this EQ with built in spectrum analyser and K-system metering. A non daw specific eq allows me to take my eq settings everywhere.
I also like that I can choose to see the spectrum of the signal in the same window so I can see any problem spikes and the effect the eq is making.

Its worth it for the work flow alone IMHO.

Hmm..I've been eyeing Voxengo GlissEQ for my shopping list. :)

That does look interesting but for that price you could get Voxengo's Gliss eq and their Voxformer which might be more bang for the buck. You used to be able to demo these, not sure if that's still the case.

It was EQuality or Gliss for me... ;)
They are both great products.

The EQuality has multiple modes ie linear, analogue......all selectable from the gui so you dont have to switch plugins to see how the different algos change the sound. Basicaly I use the linear more for hi boosts (air) and the others more for the bass.

voxformer will be fine but you really should check out DSM.
I use EQuality and DSM and it has permanently changed the way I do things.

On vox I use the EQuality to get a ballpark sound then use the DSM to tame the performance. You have to try DSM to believe how good it sounds.

Demo the pair together and remix an old track...... :o

DSM is ilok EQuality is not.
