Hey! A few months back I bought a Tascam 2488neo. I used it for less than an hour.

I then decided to buy a Macbook Pro and use Logic and maybe Protools (they are both on my mac). I bought an Apogee duet also.

SO ... Is there ANY REASON at all I should keep this 2488 neo?

If there isn't, I'm going to get rid of it.

Opinions? . . .

If you are planning on recording up to 8 tracks at a time .....maybe keep it...
If you can get close to half of what you paid for it.....sell it.....

It's more portable than most equivalent computer setups, but if you plan to never record anywhere but home and if it won't operate as a front end/interface for your home rig, I'd say sell it.
