Hello all.
My control room is smaller than Id like, but its what I have. I have another room that can be used for recording, with drums, pedal steel, etc set up.

I have floor to ceiling bass traps in all 4 corners (4" Owens Corning 703, outside one has aluminum foil, which is specifically designed for bass traps, I think its 703 FRK?, might be wrong. ALso have 2" of 703 (with about 2" air space behind) in all the primary reflection points.

Gear. my Imac i7 quad core, I think 3.6 speed? Apollo quad interface, some outboard gear (Bae 1073 preamp, Hair Ball Audio Black face 1175 clone, Red DI from A-Designs (has a tube in it), two A0esigns P-1 (pacifica ) 500 series preams going into RME A/D converter (not shown)). My speakers are 1)Blue Sky monitors with Blue SKy sub 2) NS10M's 3) Auratones.

Tim

Next upgrade: Lava Lamp

Nice room! What are you using to split your signal to the three different monitor pairs?

Way to go Tim, you've done some homework setting that studio up.

Thanks guys for all the kind comments. Yes, mackie big knob...

I have been away for the forums for a while, so pls pardon my delayed response. One of my goals for the second half of the year is to be on here more regurlarly ("everyday" is a goal, as Russell admonished in one of his interviews... lol)

All the best.
