Hey Guys
Thought I'd just drop a few pics of my setup in here.
I've built a lot of it (something I like doing outside of music) which I'd recommend to anyone even half considering - and I'm happy to answer any Qs about stuff I've tried/used. Reckon I've probably just about tried every plugin brand around!
The biggest thing in my book is that the player/performer and the idea influences the sound most and will trump pretty much all gear.
Ignore the silly man in the photos - he had to be there because the pics were for a magazine interview

Considering a trip across the Pacific in November, so hope to meet a few of you then.

Haha thanks man - the real reason is because I was told to
Really it's me smiling about the idea of getting all the money and time back that it took to own it all.

Looks like it, but it's actually a Pultec I built myself by Drip Electronics. Really easy one!
Also the 'red stripe' 1176s I built myself and that black thing on the top left is an LA2A from Drip as well. All direct circuit copies of the original models but with a PCB rather than PTP wiring.
All sound amazing, but I often find I use plugins instead!

Thank you

Several iterations and plenty of hard work.

Did you build that gorgeous desk? I built one long ago, it was a lot of work.
