Thanks for sharing. I used one of those Roland workstations for years. I loved that thing. What are planning on upgrading to?

Hi Strummer!

I'm upgrading to Tracktion DAW on a new PC with WIndows 10, using the Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD interface, all for about $280. The innterface comes with Tracktion 6 DAW OEM. I've been practicing with T5 (which is FREE BTW) on my Win laptop while waiting to get my new gear which I order tomorrow.

I love the new way to record these days! Can't believe you can turn a midi track into an audio one. I'm very excited to explore the VST's...and out all of it to creating! I

I'm keeping the VS. I am glad not to have to use the small VS screen, but I sure got good at that machine! I was going to continue to use it, but my cdburner died and they are scarce and almost the same as the PC system I am setting up. I hope to transfer tracks I have on it now to the DAW. Course I have tons of song data burned on CDs so at some point I may buy a burner again to retain the tunes.

Thanks for your post!

best,
Linda C
