Oops, I forgot to mention that I want to start doing live call-ins on the show, do you like that idea? it will give an even more realistic "voice' to our viewers and more personality, I hope. Does that sound good?

That sounds like fun Michael... ! There's so much chatter in the chat during a show I think good questions or comments are just naturally missed... cool idea to have a call in !

...it sucks when she (or any guests) ask to see the questions prior to the show and we only have three. And two of them are, "Can you shop my music for free," and "How do I get my song in a movie?"

If you youtube, "C Span Pranks", you can see that even with a call screener things can get out of hand.

Hope for the best and expect the worst I suppose,lol!

Those C-Span videos were discouraging.

Require video Skype. You can see the caller and since it's over the Internet there would be no long distance phone charges for anyone.

I like the idea. It would make things a little more interesting.

Sounds like a great addition, Michael! On top of the ability to have viewers call in with questions, maybe it could be a way for you to do more of your "successful taxi member" interviewing. I'm thinking back to that recent show when you were asking Dean Krippaehne questions from within the chatroom.

Yeah, small chance of pranking, if the call is pre-arranged. Skype might work best if the incoming video is mirrored where the audience can see, but sometimes the connections can be dicey.

Agreed. I've taught voice over skype and there's always lag, the further distant the person, the more lag. But still I think an interview or Q-A is doable.
