Well, not exactly a Dating Game, but sort of...

A few years ago, I picked 7 TAXI members to showcase for each other in my suite during the Road Rally. My goal was to inspire some artist collaborations. If memory serves correctly, Paul Otten and Helen Austin were on a successful member panel and the private showcase that year. The rest, as they say, is history.

Can we create some magic on TAXI TV? Let's see!

How about a show where we play 10 artists' songs on one week, then have viewers submit their songs, telling us who they think they should be paired with on the following week's show? Maybe we can make magic again!

That's a GREAT idea! Of course, the "pairings" from viewers will be based off of people we know and are familiar with (musically), which means Forum members will get the bulk of the recommendations. Cuts thousands of people out who might be killer musicians, producers, and composers who we're just plain unaware of here in Forum-land, but it would serve as a great nudge for more Taxi members to get involved in these Forums!

TAXI Dream Team time! Could be a fun idea.

I'm unclear on the concept; who's pairing with whom? If it's songwriters shopping for producers, it could be fun and maybe even profitable, but at the very least, instructive. If it's just a matter of getting the forum crowd and the Taxi TV bunch to cross-pollinate, that's cool, too.

That would be very useful to me as I have some songs that need updating!!! Hey..a pun! And I was looking to go about finding a way to do that here with a member or 2.

That could be an awesome idea, and I heard Michael talking about getting some ideas regarding the mechanics.
I guess it could be a specific genre/ collaboration request per episode, hence reducing the need of pre-screening.

Yeah I am facing the same issue, can't but watch replays sadly..
