Thank you Taxi TV for the song review with Brooke Ferri yesterday on Taxi TV (I was out of town so just saw it this morning). The reviews were specifically for TV & Film music, so I submitted a "customized" song I wrote & recorded for a Taxi request that wanted a female voice & piano only song for a scene in a TV show. The song is "Letting Go Is Always the First Move" and is on my taxi page.

Probably the best comment that will help me going forward is that my style (naturally) is kind of Broadway-music sounding, which is a style that gets zero (as in 0) placements. Well, could you ask for a better comment than that? This is a relatively easy "second edit" step for me that I can now do. In essence, I write mainly from my heart & piano in that choppy piano style, but I can now take a newly written song & record it in a more contemporary style, or a singer/songwriter style, or folk style (maybe call a friend who plays guitar). What a time & money saver this will be!

The other comments were also understandable, and will also help me a lot going forward. But wow, that main comment is really special - thank you Brooke & Michael :)

P.S. Anybody who heard it, if you like what I do and need a singer, contact me via a reply to this post. Also, re their discussion about the name of the song...it was an edit of a song called "The Beginning Starts Tonight" (what they suggested) because I didn't want 2 songs with the same name on my taxi page

Congratulations!

I'm new to the forums and am curious about how one goes about getting their pieces reviewed on Taxi TV Live. Do they get picked randomly or do they ask for submissions specifically for the show?

Thanks in advance for any and all replies!

TAXI sends out emails with instructions on how to do that prior to a TAXI TV episode where songs or cues are reviewed. Just keep a watch for those.
