Music mentioned on the 8/26/19 show

Hey guys, I spent some time on Taxi TV talking about a song that my friend Marcus Cohen and I put together in around 24 hours for the Super Bowl. As mentioned on the show at around the 5:30 mark of this video, we wrote this song under whirlwind deadlines for the big game. Unfortunately, though the Super Bowl production company (CBS Sports) loved the track, the game was such a low-scoring snooze fest that there weren't many opportunities for the song:

However, I just checked my ASCAP cue sheets and this song was indeed used a few months later on College Basketball March Madness (also on CBS Sports). Just goes to show you that you never know what will happen with your music, even when you write it for something very specific to begin with!
