There’s more to it, but frankly, it’s not that hard. Doing it well requires that you know what works, and what doesn’t. That’s what we’re going to talk about on this week’s TAXI TV – the do’s and don’ts of creating Instrumental Cues!

One thing that confuses me ...

I see postings that say to submit an instrumental or cue.

Wouldn't an instrumental possibly serve as a cue (if good edit points)?

Is it acceptable to submit a longer file that contains an instrumental and a shorter cue from this?

Or would this be submitted as two separate files (and 2x the submission cost)?

I've been wondering the same thing.
It's a shame no one has replied, unless the answer lies somewhere within that episode of Taxi TV. I do my best to watch some of the episodes, but 90 minutes is a large chunk of time to spend when your time is limited to 2-3 hours a day.
