14 tracks signed to library from Road Rally Mentor Lunch.

Just wanted to share this little update.
From handing a CD to a library owner during last year's Mentor Lunch, I've signed a total of 14 tracks to them. 5 that were on the CD, and 9 additional tracks over the past 5-6 months.
I've compiled the 9 into a soundcloud playlist you can check out here: https://soundcloud.com/owenchaim/sets/o ... now-school
It ranges from early 80's to 90's rap, to a few that are a bit more contemporary. Some more commercial, and others from a more "authentic" place. Coming from a very indie/underground hip hop background, I never thought I'd do songs like this, and really enjoy doing it.
Although I'm far removed from the hip hop scene in toronto now, it still feels a little uncomfortable putting it out there when there's a good chance that some of my old rap acquaintances may hear it and wonder what the hell I'm doing now. I'm gradually coming to terms with it now, though.
