Almost 2 years and 26 forwards later, first Deal

After almost 2 years and 26 forwards for everything from music libraries to major record labels to producers and documentaries, I have just signed my first deal with a library!
I hope this post especially reaches people who have received some forwards and no deal, and are thinking if Taxi is worth it.
It can happen. Keep plugging away!

Congratulations on the deal,
and for hanging in there. We (and by "we" I mean TAXI
and the forum members) know that it often takes some time because:
1) You need to learn to make the right pitches at the right targets.
2) The feedback from our A&R team and your forum friends helps you get better.
3) You've got to plant enough seeds before they start to sprout.
The first is always the best, and stay patient and persistent because it doesn't always mean that the flood gates open. Keep swinging and you'll get more hits

Congrats on the deal! Now be sure to nurture that relationship so that you can continue feeding them what they need. Do some research to find out what types of music they regularly place and need. What I've learned from the veterans is that you shouldn't be a pest... work out the details on this deal and then check in occasionally to see if there is anything they need help with. (vets, let me know if I'm off base here).
