I joined taxi 2015 and started actively submitting instrumentals, roughly 30% of submissions got forwarded. On june 2016 I was contacted by a company of one of my cues. I ended up sending them 11.

Then 2016 passed and I still was submitting but no more deals were made and on 2017, less forwards and I started getting bit distracted on making music; also because of my daily work started taking most of my available time and so on..

I was kind of starting letting it go even was not admitting it to myself. I did not renew even my Taxi membership on Jan 2018.

Last week I was paying my bills while I picked something that definetly was not belonging to my account: payment from Finnish PRO, Teosto. Yes, I live in Finland. Amount was 48,70 EUR (83 EUR gross). Further digging revealed that 2 of my cues were broadcasted on British TV on summer 2017, one year from now.

Still feeling stunned.. My motivation got totally ”re-newed” and... rejoinng Taxi..

Just shows, perseverance and patience are important qualities.
Keep on making good music and I hope more good news follows for you.
