Thanks to Michael Laskow - (22 new cue sheets in one month)

Michael,
I want to thank you for a long list of things you have done for us as musicians and Taxi members. I also want to thank you personally for what you have done for me. Something happened for me the other day when you reviewed my track on the Taxi Live show this week.
While I have worked hard, and also been blessed along the way, there was a moment that happened for me which is hard to put into words. The feedback and positive comments you offered shined a light. It was like a cross between having a fatherly figure show the kind of acknowledgement and support I never really got from my own father, and having a friend who sees and understands every detail of the challenges, struggles, and joys of the long path taken as a musician and Taxi member.
It took a long time to get my first placement; ie; the first cue sheet. Everything that has happened with what is now a steady income from music, plus rich Taxi friendships, would not have happened without you. Like others say, it has changed my life in a wonderful way. And yes, I had 22 new cue sheets in one month, recently. In fact, just two of those tracks on the recent royalty check have paid for six years of Taxi memberships!
Producing music alone in one’s studio can be an isolating endeavor. If you’re social like me, you can feel cut off from sharing the experiences, bad and good, with others. The Taxi community are my favorite people to hang out with, and are my cherished friends. But hearing you say on the show, “I’m proud of you” this week on the Taxi Live show, was a sparkling red cherry on the top of a long long road. So thank you!!
